My first journal entery!!!!!!
HELLO WHOEVER IS LISTENING!!!!!!!
SO, I know that probably no one will ever read this, except me, but at least it is a good way to keep track of my thoughts and feelings of the time. Besides, I type much more quickly than I write.
The purpose of this blog will be to write down my opinions, feelings,and other random thoughts of the world today, all as seen through the eyes of a completely, hopelessly uncool person, me. I know that this will just be fasinating to the entire internet community, and that soon my journal will be incredibly populer, because I am just that fasinating and original. I also hope that someone(hint: Elijah Wood) will be googiling one day and decide to look on live journal for people who like, ummm, I don't know, "skinny, nerdy guys" and then he will find me, and he will be like, wow, what an amazing girl, I have to meet her!!!! Or not.
So, changing topics from my love for a man that I have never even met.... The big story of today, and yesterday for that matter, is that John Kerry has picked John Edwards as his running mate. This to me is incredibly wonderful. I voted for Edwards in the primarys and really was a big supporter. He brought a sense of optimism and hope to his speeches. I also like how he was raised in a small town, with blue collar parents and he went to a state school. He does not have some insanely privileged background that no average person could identify with. I am tired of having all the presidential candidates going to either Harvard or Yale. It seems that if you do not go to one of those schools, kiss a presidential wish goodbye. I just love Edwards. I was going to vote for Kerry anyway, since I am a very liberal democrat with socialist tendencies, but now that Edwards has joined the ticket, I want to volunteer for the campaign. Yeah, Edwards.
The republicans are already scared. The worst insult that they could come up with was that Edwards was "anti-business" Oh no. Do you mean that edwards actually opposes all the corruption, greedy fat cats, and double dealing that now is the face of big business? Say it isn't so. We don't want some one with a moral backbone who stands up for people with no voice. That isn't good!
I have to get back to work now. I am making a display at the library I work at Ripon College Library, on Cats. I love Cats!!!!!! Cats,Cats,cats( does happy cats dance). Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
