(no subject)
As you may have heard, they evacuated a terminal at LaGuardia airport this morning, after detaining a guy with some sort of bomb or bomb-like object going through security. My cousin was 10 people in line behind him, and she says whatever was in his bag had all sorts of wires and switches on it.
Now, I will take the incompetent terrorist over the competent one any day of the week, but, seriously? Seriously. I can't wait to see what comes out about this guy that he thought this was a good plan. Maybe he hasn't ever been to an airport before.
In other news - back to the usual level of excitement around here, except for the puppy that needs to go out every time he wakes up. Which is often. So maybe I'll get something done, eventually.
ETA - ha. now that I've actually read that (more recent) article, apparently he was drunk, and just trying to convince people that he had a bomb. I'm 90% sure that even making a verbal comment about a bomb around TSA staff is a federal offense, so... good plan, dude.
