fun/not-fun
So, I went to play league volleyball tonight, and it was the single most frustrating hour of volleyball of my entire life. And then I took a hard spike directly to the nose, which has never happened to me in... 15? years of play.
I am actually more frustrated that it doesn't appear to be bruising, because I was really, really pissed, and I would welcome the invitation to complain about it for a week or so. I could probably count on one hand the number of times in my life that I have been mad enough to really want to hit and/or break things, and this was one of them.
In happier news, I loved everything about American Idol tonight, including the Iron Man trailer, and Kris Allen's Ford commercial. I don't know what is wrong with my brain, because I am not even that big a fan of his, but I will totally stop fastforwarding through commercials to watch him. So precious.
I don't generally vote for Idol, or anything else that I can't do via the web. It's probably just as well, because I don't now who I'd vote for.
Also, you can totally add me to the list of people who have a crush on Lee Dewyze. A pre-reformed bad boy with legitimate talent and apparent mild self-esteem issues? Where do I sign up for one of those?
I'm a little frustrated with the cut-down Top Gear episodes on BBC America, but not quite enough to make the effort to find the other bits. I'm still having a hard time deleting old episodes off the DVR, so I probably might as well download some seasons.
