I watched Ben Hur last night, in honor of Charlton Heston.
Charlton Heston is fucking awesome, by the way. Planet of the Apes, The Ten Commandments, Soylent Green, Midway, The Three Musketeers, The Omega Man, movies would not be as awesome as they are today without him. He was also always a pretty activisty-type person, he was one of the few Hollywood actors who vocally supported the civil rights movement in the 60s and 70s, and of course later on he became president of the NRA.
