Had an evening program down in Germantown MetroPark. I have yet to find a good way to get to that park without a car. It is surrounded by hills and the bus only goes by twice a day. Even then the bus stop is not near the entrance. Brent, one of my coworkers offered a ride to the park since he was also headed to the same location. After the event we went for ice cream and then he was kind enough to drop me at the nearest bus stop in Miamisburg. That is where the adventure started. I waited roughly half an hour for the bus to arrive which then took me to the South Hub near the Dayton Mall. From the hub I took a bus to downtown Centerville where I was planning on catching a bus to take me South back home. Turns out the bus had already passed 10 minutes ago. So since I was close to my old apartment I decided to check the mail box one last time. After consulting my schedule my heart sank because the next bus able to pick me up and take me back home would not have arrived for another hour and fifteen minutes. The walk is only 45 minutes so I decided that was the way to go. A trip that should have taken 40 minutes took three hours. Without the help from Brent it would have taken a lot more than that!
