idek where to start, but can we just say Loki's talk show and progress from there? because I'm seeing the hollywood version of Maury Povich or Jerry Springer or something and the 'team' pwning him. I am amuse.

also, I totally just want to flail and bounce all over the place with this. the farm! and Tony truly is born to be a diva, but that's alright. and Nat's luggage, and Darcy and Pepper conspiring to rule the interwebs.

okay but seriously, this is epic. they're still them, only with a change of scenery and different parts, and I think that's what I love so much about this. that it can be funny one minute and serious the next and you never lose sight of who they are, even in such vastly different circumstances.

I came, I saw, I read. and it was goshdarned fantabulous.

therefore, you win. here, have an internet. :D

I think that's all, but I'll most likely flail more at you in the morning, Westley. ;P

YAAAAAAAAY OMG!!!! YOU LIKED!!!! Loki is DEFINITELY a Jerry Springer-ish host who thinks he is awesome and the best and doesn't care how much he hurts people, so. He totally deserved this. Team pwnd him right, I enjoyed it together with darcy :D

Yes, the farm! Because Clint wants a completely peaceful place where he can feel like an ordinary guy again, and nobody knows about it, and he grew up in Iowa, on a similar farm, so it reminds him of home. And OHHHHH the scene with Tony, my favorite.

I am so happy it feels like them, even though scenery is considerably different :D Means I did something right! And yes, that's how I do these things, funny in one moment, serious in the next and I do my darn bestest not to lose sight of who they are. So I'm VERY HAPPY it comes across, SO SO VERY HAPPY. THANK YOU.

Never hesitate to flail, in fact, let me flail along about them!!! <3333!!!!!

EEEEEEEEEEEE..
*returns to the flails*

Um yeah, I liked it. If like is a value of 'want to have its babies' then sure, I liked it. :P

Also, correct me if I'm wrong here but I'm pretty sure between Nat, Pepper and Darcy there could be a good argument made for universal domination. One that no one would ever see coming. So your basic options would be surrender or surrender.
Going back to re-read them pwning Loki now. Because it was masterful and makes me all flailyfingers.

But I really really like the idea of Clint going back to that peaceful life that gives him some peace, because agh my Clint feels. They are everywhere.
I love the simpatico he and Nat have, it's very organic and real, you did awesome there, hun.

Have I quoted the following at you yet?
“Ya think, babe? I think it's more epic than just friends -”

“You think so, handsome?”

“I definitely think so.”

If you could make bumper stickers out of fanfic quotes, this would be it.

Geez I fail at flail (so sorry! I was so out of it for the past few days, and seriously, your comment made me squee my head off but had no time to reply). Nat, Pepper and Darcy would rule the world and there would be no option :D Universal domination in one awesome swipe ( ... )

and the best thing is, they ARE honest and not lying about ANYTHING and poor Loki is so confuzzled, his brain is going to explode. Or implode. Or both :D

Both is good xD

And yeah, Clint's kinda the perfect Springsteen song, if that makes sense. It does in my head. I am all for this. And also yes to Dire Straits and Knopfler and Cash and all such storytellers because reasons. Idk, in my head he's got a beat up old truck that he tracked down- it belonged to a relative or an old man he knew years and years ago and he keeps it in storage but now and again he pulls it out and works on it for hours and that's how he recalibrates after hard missions.

And yes. Steady and solid are just the right combination of how I think of him. Which is why that conversation about being 'unmade' just gives me chills. Agh.

Eek, I haven't read it yet. At be_compromised right? I skimmed f-list this morning but we were leaving so I didn't get to read. *heads over*

:D

Yes, he is definitely, definitely, a Springsteen song. He is... Glory days and No surrender and Thunder road and Human touch (all the lyrics, all of them so perfect for Clint, or him and Natasha together; Human touch is so perfect for them) So yes, all the storytellers. And yes, an old truck, or old car, which he looves, which he fixed with his own hands, because he is that kind of guy. There's no shine. What you see is what you get, and then more (and you don't expect it); he is this verse:

So you been broken and you been hurt
Show me soomebody who ain't
Yeah I know I ain't nobody's bargain
But hell a little touchup
And a little paint

He is this song. Unasuming, and if you don't truly listen to it, you might miss the nuances. (I just have tons and tons of feelings re Clint and music ( ... )
