*Taimethis steps out of a portal in his cabin on the observation deck. The furniture is slightly out of order, and a large tactical holomap is open on the desk. The other ships in the Battle Group can be seen through the large bay windows on the far side of the room, with the infinite blackness of space behind them. The group is nearly to the Rim of the galaxy, and the stars are very sparse, but the Omega Centauri Cluster can be seen as a bright dot in the distance.*
