Maundy Mondays!
It's gloomy. The skies are snow laden and the barometre rises and falls like a tick-tock. I'm in the mood for some excellent angst, so I recc you this, to commemorate the moody, why-did-I-ever-get-up-this-morning? noir of it all.
An Interpretation on Justice (the Aurors and Assassins Mix) by noticeably
"Warnings: Angst, character death, infidelity.
Summary: The little-known truth about floor sixteen and the department that inhabits it is this: the ten witches and wizards that sit in the front, while attending to things like paperwork and other trivial matters, are only a front to appease the few easily confused, lost individuals that happen to wander into the department unannounced, most usually when looking for another floor.

Why? (oh why, oh?) Because this: This is quirky, contains many levels of meaning and subtext, and makes you think. And for all the angst, it's still hopeful at the very end (turn your head sideways and squint; it is!)
...of course, the worst part is that the author has departed LJ. This is at World Cup, so it's still accessible, but take a moment to think of those who leave us, all too soon....
