shall we have a monday resources? let's have a monday resources!

hello my fellow writers,
to another dose of writing info you might not need, desperately want, or never even expected to be there!

  • How to weave threads of Tension through your story this was really a good article, especially when you want to make it good in the angst department, but it also has good advice for simply keeping your readers hocked no matter the genre.

  • 7 Simple Hacks to Get Writing When You Just Can't is a short read obviously, and does not have a deep soul-searching purpose. these are just tricks that should empower you to get over the writers block you are having. and i for one found them rather useful.

  • My favorite writing cheat sheets is a list of cheat sheets the blogger uses and found helpful, i only skimmed two of them- character moods of emotions, which IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. and Character Traits chart- which on the other hand was very helpful, so it may help you too.
also the same blogger did another one of these cheat-sheets list to be found here.

all the best! see you again soon hopefully ;)
may the muses be with you!
and remember all words are good words (even the words that are gone due to edition!)

do you want more tips on one certain topic that i so far completely ignored? (i am posting here what catches my fancy in hope to motivate you to get words down- so if you have something you need to know or read or be motivated on, let me know and i shall dig around the net trying to find something for you)
do you have a tip you want to share, but are thinking: "meh"- just pm me or write me a mail smirkingcat[at] yandex. com and i shall check it out and include it in a future post [with your name or without it]
