BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

as the christmas-season is upon us, and we all are making gifts, stories, and trying to meet the challenges, i am happy to announce this year's seasonal comment-a-thon- which i asked the amazing capitu if she is ok with me doing it this year hear on the hd_writers page- and she said yes, because of being busy- and for the first time a seasonal write-a-thon!!!

All pairings, all fests in Harry Potter- Fandom!



i am still not that sure in using the new program but i tried and i did manage some: so here are banners:



Start: October 15th
End: December 31st

How it works:

• There will be a overall best, a house best, and a house cup.
• The starting date is set as to include hp_creatures Halloween-fest posting, so that we can get even more comments rolled out!
• There will be small challenges- that will win you and your house points!
• The sign up will go up on October 1st, at which you will be sent a link to grab a spread sheet and fill that out on your own, and then post your results! We are a community, we are grown up, i do not believe control is necessary.


• However if i sniff something strange is going on- like you granted yourself points for all the challenges, but you never did one, it will lead to penalty for you, and point deduction for your house - so be warned.
• Also please remember this is a HP focused event, so only comments on HP exclusive fests count!
• The winner will be posted around January 6th (i can not guarantee the day yet, because life, but i want to make it the 6th), be aware if you signed up and then forget to sign in at the 1st, I will not contact you or anything. Grown ups!

How it works:

• Similar to the comment-a-thon there will be a best, a house best and a house cup.
  However as i am aware about the incredible effort it is to write in this season ALL words count, no matter which fandom they are in, only restriction it as to be FICTION so no school-work or work-related stuff; and if you are a author as a job, then only fanfic counts.
• Sign up will go online on September 3rd.
• My question to you is: Do you want/need a spread sheet for your writing process through those days, or are you already doing the track-keeping and are not in need of a spread-sheet.
• Starting date is the sent out of the hd_owlpost assignments, and will give you ample time to write and include all the seasonal challenges, and there will also be some small challenges here (they will be easy, but hopefully fun if put together ;))
• The winner shall be posted around the 6th too! Be aware if you signed up and then forget to sign in at the 1st, I will not contact you or anything. Grown ups!
