Monday Resources!

Mar 14, 2016 14:53

hi there!
i wish you all a great start into this new week!
and for the writing- mojo to be and stay alive i might have some nice resources for you:

  1. The Hemingway App
if you don't have heard about it before- its an amazing webpage that colour codes your text and (if you are anyway like me) marks down run-on and to complex sentences! it really shows you with one look what part of your text might need editing - i was told about this page, because i never end my sentences, this page really helps with that problem and others too! you should check it out, its a handy page to know

  2. Anglophenia Youtube channel
i use it mainly for podfic references- but they also help with traditions and all the other stuff- it's an interesting channel to check out when writing about the brits! - i DO NOT recommend the blog and i only ever took one look and never went back since then because the blog is just... BAD! but the vids and the youtube channel are informative and fun

  3. This short article about writing from a mans pov
it's short, it's fun, it's snarky and it also has some insight to it, you might not be able to use the advice given, you might not need the advice given, but reading it might help to improve your writing in some way still - it got me thinking about some phrasing and gestures at least

i hope you all have a great writing month! and that maybe something in here was interesting for you!

and please don't forget to give your vote to Question about an HP-Comment fest
