Fic Recs!!!
I wanted to rec a few fics from recent fests that have not been rec'd yet and they should be because they are awesome and deserve to be read and squee'd over.
Title: You were a miracle. I was just holding your space.

Warnings: Non-con situations at the beginning (not H/D), brutality, angst, heavy doses of Ron Weasley in a positive role
Summary: Draco Malfoy has walked through hell, but when an unlikely friendship and an unpleasant spell push him towards Harry Potter, Draco will have to decide what he’s worth and what he’s willing to give for the sake of moving on.
Why I loved it: This fic just has it all. It will break your heart and put it back together. A wonderful, plotty h/c fic that was well-written and had some great character development.
Title: Coffee Talks

Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 15K
Warnings: Wand penetration and mentions of bloody suicide (not harry or draco).
Summary: Serious illness: It tears families apart, but in a place like St. Mungo’s, searching for a cure over endless cups of coffee can draw even the greatest rivals together.
Why I loved it: Another well-written fic that brought h/c full-circle with a healing of bodies and hearts. I love St Mungo's, medical drama, and research of magical diseases. Must read.

Summary: Three years after the war the curses that were cast during the final battle are bubbling up in the walls of Hogwarts, creating a situation where “mines” are scattered throughout the castle. Harry (as an Auror) and Draco (as a curse breaker) are among those sent in to remove the mines to make Hogwarts safe. But memories of magic are not stable, nor predictable, and the situation very quickly goes awry in unexpected (and explosive!) ways.
Why I loved it: Well, I also adore post-Hogwarts or 8th year fics. This is an action packed story of a devastated post-war Hogwarts and the rivals coming together to heal the school and how they come to grips with each other in the process. A great plot, great action, and some great character-building. Some of the things I love most in fanfic.
