Why I loved it:
2014’s hd_fanart fest was awesome and so many talented artists created pics for it. But this one, The Holly and the Hawthorn, was my favourite. I catch myself taking a look at it on a regular base, as I do with some of alby_mangroves’s other pics of her boys (and girls). She drew Harry and Draco for the first time and I really, really hope it wasn’t the last.
They are both so incredible handsome here. I love Harry’s closed eyes, his thick black lashes, his tousled hair, his nerdy but sexy glasses, his long slender fingers reaching for Draco’s scars and tattoo.
And how stunning is her Draco. Look at his plush bottom lip, how lovingly he’s gazing at Harry here, his blond lashes and eyebrow. This hair cut suits him so well. His shoulder and torso are to die for. Then there are the scars (the one cutting through his nipple- unf) and the tattoo- the rough looking scars a great counterpoise to the tender looking tattoo. Wonderful.
Sorry, I’m slightly incoherent (as I always am) when it comes to talking about art. This pic is perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. I would only try to get a bigger picture, but that’s reasonable, isn’t it?
