Yay! Harry's finally come to his senses and realised that there are two sides to evry encounter. I liked the way Harry was convinced he was the wounded party until he came to look closely at what actually happened - how he'd treated Draco. It must've been quite an eye opener for him. In one respect he's lucky that Draco's prepared to give him a second chance.

I'm so glad you liked this story! It was the first real reunion story of this type I wrote. I've written dozens of H/D stories before but it was the first time I tried this angle. And yeah, it was fun to try to have Harry grow and learn in the course of one short story.

I love following Harry's thought process here - the memories and what he chooses to discard (reminds me of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - should you rid yourself of the painful memories, or do they make you who you are?). The confession - drunken and then sober, was nice.
