Author's Notes: This is my first post in this community. I haven't written anything fandom-related since I was a starry-eyed, grammatically-challenged, overly romantic thirteen year old. I'm hoping my writing is better now, so here goes nothing.
Draco hated summer. He hated the heat, the sweating, and those freckles that would appear when he spent too much time in the sun. He hated everything except the large oak tree he was sprawled under, spread-eagled and too hot to move.
“Want to go for a dip?”
He cracked one eye open, ready to hex someone. There stood Harry, shirtless with his shorts slung low on his hips. Droplets of water clung to his skin, and his hair was wet. It stuck around his face, framing his eyes (without those awful glasses for once, Draco noted).
…Draco loved summer.
