Challenge: Loyalty
Author's Notes: I had to cut this down so much, from 144 words, so a lot of the little things I threw in there are gone. I might work on an extended version of this, but I doubt I'll get around to it...
Oh, and the title is a reference to Lord of the Flies, for really no other reason than I'm reading it again for the gazillionth time.

“We’ll make it work, Malfoy. You want it, don’t you?”
“You don’t understand-”
“What don’t I understand? I love you, for fuck’s sake! How’s that not the point?!”
“I’m a Death Eater, Harry! Do you get that? A Death Eater! Not a boy who thinks he wants it but doesn’t understand what it means. I know what I’m involved in, where my loyalties lay.”
“But you don’t…you can’t agree-”
“That’s not the point. Voldemort, Harry, gets lifelong loyalty or death. I can’t change my mind, even if you’ve changed me.”
“Malfoy-”
“Don’t, Potter. There’s no point.”
