“So it’s over,” Draco stares down his wand arm at the body in the snow. Then, “I didn’t think it would work a second time,” he smirks, carefully nudging Potter’s face with his boot.

He settles on his haunches, gaze unwavering. “What’s the plan? Gryffindor celebration in Hogsmeade? Re-enactment of the Potter wedding at,” wrinkling his nose in distaste, “the Burrow?”

No response. Suddenly Draco is terrified; aren’t the irises stiller than they should be? “Ennervate,” he incants, heart in his mouth, but Harry only rolls his eyes and glares.

“No, you mad bugger, I was going to kiss you.”
