Notes: I wrote this yesterday and got home to find that dadomz had written something really similar. I considered not posting but thought 'what the hell'. I like her's better though.

The grass was brittle beneath his hands.
Harry watched the diamond bright cobwebbing of frost spread between all the stones marking his friends and enemies.
He stared out as the snowflakes fluttered lazily down, big, heavy flakes settling in his hair, on his eyelashes. He knew with bone-deep certainty that he would stay stretched out on this grave forever.
At first the warmth of his breath kept the 'Draco' on the tomb free from snow, and he traced the letters with shaking and blue fingertips.
By morning the snow was inches deep, covering both grave and the sleeper upon it.
