Just Thought This Was Note Worthy
Yesterday my ma and me were driving around in St. Lucie West going to the library on the IRCC campus and we ran into some seriously bad traffic. The METS have a stadium that they train at down here, and they were training yesterday.
Mom: (complaining about the traffic) What the hell is wrong with people today?!
Me: Well, with the destruction of our vital environment, declination in moral value and dignity, loss of the concept of humane rights...
Mom: (ignoring my ranting by habit) Oh, it's the METS.
Me: And there's them too, I guess.
Is it odd that this is normally how our conversations progress?
Mom: (complaining about the traffic) What the hell is wrong with people today?!
