Tired...
Well that was an exhausting weekend. With Marg on layoff we are making an effort to do a better food budget, so we hit the farmer's market early on Saturday and bought a peck of tomatoes and red peppers, along with a huge bag of hamburger. Then spent the rest of the weekend making a huge vat of spagetti sauce and chili. Also made four pounds of meatballs. all is now frozen and my freezer is bursting. Also made ahuge pot of chicken stock Sunday we celebrated with a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Then rendered the carcass for turkey stock. Like I said the freezer is bursting at the seams. Today it's leftovers. I'm so tired of working in the kitchen but it was all worth it.
Off to the States on Wend to visit Sara and James plus attend Furfright. Really looking forward to the break.
