It's over.
I'm still crying as I write this cos I just wanted to write something seeing as this show has been in my life for the past 6 years making me yell, scream and be amazed at the stuff they have thrown at us.
Ok Sawyer and Juliet. I loved their connection scene. LOVED IT. I was crying. Sawyer trying to get the candy bar out of the machine and their little banter. OMG and they kissed it was amazing.
Jack and Kate saying their goodbyes and i love you's was just perfect. I loved how they did it.
As much as I didn't want Jack to die, I loved how they did it. The ending paralleling the beginning of the series. A nice touch. Again balling my eyes out.
I love that there are little things that we will never really understand but that's ok. Its what makes Lost so great. You can always be guessing what such and such means even if you re-watch it. One being, what the hell is the light and why is it so important.
I loved the entire ending. I don't know how others interpreted it but this is my thoughts.
So this whole 'scenes as if they never crashed' was a sort of limbo. A place where we go after we die but before we move on to heaven or whatever place people believe they go when they die.
Desmond and his abilities enable him to realise their connection and that they needed to be together before they could all move on.
Back on the island...
So Jack dies and Hurley and Ben and Desmond are left on the island to do what ever they have to, to protect it and the people on it. By the way I adored the scene with Hurley and Ben. I loved how he asked him to help him on the island. squee it was cute.
Sawyer, Kate, Richard, Claire and the others got off the island and they survive and live their lives and whatever.
At some point in time they all die.....then Desmond's soul(?)or whatever we wanna call it has his epiphany when he almost drowned and knew that he had to get them all together.
Then we have the ending where they are all together and I'm absolutely balling cos its kinda awesome and cute and sad and the show is ending and I really can't keep it together.
I don't know if what I think happened actually happened but if my interpretation is right I love it.
I can't believe it is all over. Seriously there will not be another show like it.
