aw I love LOM glad you like it. Yah it didn't grab me in the same way as A2A either but I dont know which one I like more. "Life on Mars" is so amazing at the whole dynamic and atmosphere of the show. The music is so perfect and the scenes with his "interaction" with the outside world whether it be doctors or hearing family members has more of an impact on me. Any scene with that stuff makes me so emotional. Plus John Simm is like the finest man alive (although more so when he was on Doctor Who).

I think you picked up on some key things between LOM and A2A. I think it is definetly important that she hasn't heard anything from the outside world yet. Especially since this is a staple of LOM. Another interesting thing is that LOM focuses on scenes through Sam's perspective. As in there is never really a scene that he isn't in throughout the show. Whereas in A2A there are many scenes that have nothing to do with Alex and that she isn't even in.

I was actually reading an article the other day by the people who did both shows who said they were scared to delve further into Alex's situation in series 1 and they will change the atmosphere and take more risks in series 2...should be good!

Anyways continue with LOM cause series 2 is just amazing and the finale is my favorite finale ever.

- yeah I know what you mean, its like you really connect with Sam and his situation, and the issues they deal with are more serious, if you know what I mean. Like; the idea of solid evidence to hold a suspect, bent police, proper investigative styles. They have done so many various issues that have made Sam question or confirm his ethical, moral and professional type of policing.
I know its so hard to watch Sam when he hears things from the outside world, cos he is alive but can't communicate and you really feel that frustration. At least he has Annie as a vent for what he is feeling, where as Alex assumes she knows the situation and deals with it on her own. Which actually makes me like her even more, lol
Yeah I was thinking that the other day, how Sam is the main focus, whereas in A2A is not the case. Whilst Alex is the focus we see more of Gene too. Which isn't a bad thing. lol

OMG cannot wait now for season 2! I wonder what they will do, man I don't think I can wait till next year!
