Cloverfield and Juno

I just saw Cloverfield.
Ok I thought it was amazing and I felt so nauseous afterwards. LOL.

Simple. A guy is filming his friends going away party and ends caught up in the destruction of Manhattan by an evil creature. We follow a group of young people who are trying to escape the madness. A friend is trapped in Mid-town and they are all the way in SoHo but they are determined to go and rescue her. Go figure. LOL. I love it.
I love how it was filmed it made it more real. Its taking a typical monster action film but made it more real and gritty. There is no happy ending, the creatures isn't destroyed while the hero is off with his girl. Its right in there. Rob, Lilly and Hudson(?) are freaked, confused and running about the city not sure what to do. Its good cos you feel like you can relate to it. You would totally do what they did.
Not much else to write but it was really good. I was on the edge of my seat. It was exciting and tragic. Go see it.

Ok how have I not talked about Juno. Yeah it was just as awesome as everyone said. SO HILARIOUS.

Juno had the most awesome personality and wit. Didn't you just wanna be friends with her?LOL. Ellen Page was spot on in her interpretation of the character. She just WAS Juno. I also thought that Jennifer Garner had a great role. She pulled it off great too. The overly prepared mother to be. Determined to have a child but tries not to let her longing show. Jason Bateman's character was great too. He was really cool. I love how we don't really see whether he was a creep or just a cool guy. Interesting. Michael Cera was adorable and I just want him.
Allison Janney was so awesome. I friggin loved her loading off on that woman at the doctors.
'Thats no etchasketch' - LOL Rainn Wilson. He was great, good cameo.
OMG the 'runners', they were so random. Crossing the screen at unexpected moments.
Ya'll should see it. Its not for everyone but if you like quirky, random witty films this is for you!
