Back from the walk we head out to work on the apartment. Our goals are to get the tenants to sign the new leases, install light bulbs in the basement and carry trash from recently vacated apartment.
These works completed we drive home happy except for the troubblesome worry of the new lock not fitting the door.
We discuss dinner plans and realize a shared craving for tacos. Happily we turn into Hannifords and stock up on taco makings minus beef whch we have at home. Special treats include dried pineapple and shrimp.
Home again I take out frozen meat and stare at it. Some thing looks off. This leads to Charlie making jokes that it could be a bag of frozen blueberries which would give us blueberry tacos. This leads to the giggles, which leads to Charlie chasing me in circles around the kitchen table, which leads to us running out into the backyard and collapsing into a heap on the ground. Still laughing, loving each other fiercely.
Back to dinner. Beef turns out to not be beef but ground sausage which turns out makes for excellent tacos.
Now here I sit and Charlie is taking a nap on the couch.
I love our life together.
