H/D Erised Fic
After a six weeks of obsessively refreshing lj to see which new fics/art have been posted, the reveals are up for hd_erised. I was so nervous about taking part in this as I am Lurker Extraordinaire, and despite having written a lot in my lazy English-student-with-one-lecture-a-day-if-at-all days, I barely write at all, now, which makes me sad.
Anyway, this fest turned me into a pile of self-doubting goo, but I loved it. I loved the accomplishment of producing something which I shared with others and which was accepted and enjoyed. I do miss the camaraderie of fandom. I'm hoping that this might kick start me into dusting off my poor old lurking journal and actually try to make some fandom connections again.
