webcomic-y thing
Questionable Content got me inspired, as I mentioned earlier. Well, I threw together some characters, a setting, and a few starter ideas. My first attempt is up at DeviantArt, here. There may or may not be word boxes (I like rectangles more than bubbles) at a later date.
I really like Shaw, but he lives firmly in the land of webcomic, and will not be migrating into any of the prose. Sadly, I could not manage to put together a world without science fiction and fantasy elements. Shaw is the normal average Joe kind of character who gets to encounter all the weird shit. Okay, so he's a little odd himself, but more in an unruffle-able, unusually formal diction, socio-linguist sort of way. It's a step up the normalcy ladder for me.

The cat's name is Edelweiss. Five years of having him bounce around my brain and I finally found a home for him. I'm gonna have to write this thing, just to keep him out of the other stories.
