7's or Snake Eyes?
It goes like this.... I have been driving around on a suspended liscence for over a year now not even thinking about it... and tonight I drove through a stop light that had just changed red as I was passing through it and I saw it.... blue and white lights... flashing... I pulled over and he asked me if I knew why he had and I said yes... I stepped out of the car and he asked me for my liscence.... After feeling my heart sink into my stomach about 8 times he came over and told me he knew it was suspend and that, yup you guessed it... I was under arrest.... yes, I got arrested... lol ... since I had told him I was unaware of that fact and played total studip, he told me he was letting me go and that the courts will contact me to let me know when to show up to pay my fines in full and all... so now I just need to hope that these shows go well and that the court date isnt on the days Im gone.
Speaking of which... the dates have been changed... we are opening for "Motor Grater" (which is some members of Fog Hat and Slayer mixed) for about 2000 to 5000 on the 24th of November... we are opening for "Damage Plan" (Dime Bag Darrel's band from Pantera) for about 10,000 to 15,000 ppl on the 8th of December and we are opening for "Alice Cooper" for about 20,000 to 30,000 ppl on the 15th of December. We are getting paid $800 a show for the first 2 shows and then $4200 the 3rd show and 10% of ticket sales on that last one as well!!! Arista, Capitol, and Virgin Records will all be there, and if all goes well (and I hope it does), we will get signed for a good sum of mula!
I need it to pay all these fines off and to help my dad out. He just found out that he is getting sued for $25,000 for helping a friends company out and signing a contract where he didnt read the fine print and it left him liable for some shit... so... I gotta help him out!!!
As for me and my girl... things are really great! We had a rough few days trying to pull money together for these shows to get up there and dealing with our pasts hasnt been easy... but we have found a way to see through it and Im hoping for the best. She said she knows I wont leave her, but that with who she is and in her nature that she may leave me one day in the future... I know hearing that would make pretty much anyone just leave now knowing that that may be the out come... but for those that know me... Im gonna stick it out and hope for the best... her smile brings out the inner optimist inside... I love her, what can I say... :)
