I am officially Sharul & Amir's simp. :P
I've just discovered a new shipping pair, so pardon my fangirling moment. XD
I think the first time i heard about Sharul Kamal's name was from his viral adzan video around May 2020.
Since i havent been so active with Malaysian music industry that much (my last discover was Yonnyboii & Kmy Kmo), so my playlist was outdated.
I didnt listen to many of local songs as well, except the one that was recommended by Youtube. ^^;
So after watching the viral video, i started searching for Sharul, and found out he's been in the industry for couple of years.
I did a quick stalk on his social medias and listen to his songs. My first impression was "whoa, he sound so much like Akim" and coincidently my sister is a huge Akim's fan, so i teased her that Sharul could replace Akim in her heart since Akim is married. XD
And the search stops there.
..until the AJL35, i was listening to this dude with a husky voice & long silky hair, and i thought his face looks fammiliar.
I tried to recall but i couldnt figure out where did i see him. So i googled his name and realize he did a cover with Sharul.
Well, that makes sense, perhaps i've seen him in one of Sharul's post before.
I tried to search deeper and found out that both of them are actually having quite similar style, both are high-pitch, and they're born from reality talent show Akademi Fantasia but in different seasons.
They also shared the same slow pacing career journey, not as smooth as the other uprising BBNUs.
But their stars seems a bit brighter in 2021 with Sharul went viral, they joined Immortal songs and Amir got into AJL final. And people start noticing these 2 rockstars (including me, teeheee).
However, i was drawn into this two bcs of their cute friendship.
Sharul is bluntly funny and Amir is just low-key savage. haha. I can feel the genuineness of their friendship, they're giving me so much of Hazama-and-Akim's vibe.
Amir & Sharul instantly reminds me of P.O & Mino, and i'm such a sucker for a cute friendship. ;_____;
Well, at least i have found something to look forward in 2021. :D
