Mummy's Day and Sys Lab
We had pancakes and bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast today. Mum was busy in the kitchen for a while before she found my present, haha. She really liked it a lot, which is good.
Then I watched the cool parts of yesterday's Naruto episode, the Danny Phantom episode (Double Cross My Heart) from last week or something, and a few episodes of Monk and John Doe, and deleted a few duplicate Monk episodes. There's a Monk marathon starting at 12, 11 episodes, and I need to make sure there's enough space to record all of those and the two shows Mum wants to watch later.
Am now in Sys Lab, and I am extremely bored. I've been for almost an hour and a half. Ugh. Let's see... lab partner is on Lab 5 out of 8 (I thought it was 7 labs, woe), almost half done. I really should help, but I have no idea what to do (I like my Route & Switch labs better--they tell you what they want you to do and how to do it. Of course, the writeups are a bit of a pain in the ass, but I'll take writeups any day over these "figure out how to do this, this, and that" instructions), and he's always taking charge right away anyway. Oh dear, I wonder what we'll be doing about our site book thing? Ugh. Apparently, it's supposed to be 30 pages long, and it's due at 14.00 Friday 19 May.
I still have Lab 7 for Route & Switch to do. And the 10 page Criminology paper, which requires mostly library references, bleh. I think I'll be writing about Computer Crime or eBay fraud or something--should definitely e-mail professor and ask if that's okay. Oh yeah, and I need to check how many of the ten references have to be from actual printed stuff, and double-check the meaning of "scholarly references"--I'm pretty sure that doesn't include news articles and journals and things unless they're the really special educational type or something.
Partner wandered off and is back now--looks like he's on the second half of Lab 5 now. I can help by writing out the site book. I'm good with words, after all.
I wonder if I can drain my bottle of water--bit more than half full--so I can go to the drinking fountain for lack of anything else to do.
