Yay Dollmeet! [Picture Heavy!)
Yesterday Ichigo and I went to our first dollmeet with the fine folks of bjdasia at the Sunway Pyramid McDonalds. I'd never met any bjdasia folk in person, but I figured that the table with all the BJDs sitting on it HAD to be them. And it was!^^
After receiving a warm welcome from all present, I brought Ichigo out. He seemed a little standoffish at first but soon was mingling with the crowd. Here are some of the lovelies and cuties present. I didn't catch everybody's names but they were all gorgeous.

Comparison photos! The Nobility Lie is considered to be "in-between" SD and MSD sizes, though he's closer to SD than MSD. that's also what makes him so hard to buy clothes for.^^;

And then Ichigo's head came off!XD Someone was playing with him and turned his head just so and it came off in her hands (I have no idea how because I have been trying to figure out how to take his head off for weeks! Fortunately I was among experts! bloodscent took charge, and others produced S-hooks and wire stringers and various leet doll equipment out of seemingly nowhere. These people are PREPARED. As I watched intently (and held Ichigo's body down) the dollie doctors figured out what happened, pulled strings up and threaded things through other things and eventually got Ichigo's head back on. Frankly I was too fascinated to be upset.XD Really, I'm glad it happened because I finally got to see how he works! alas I have no pictures of the whole emergency although I briefly thought about it.XD
I asked if Ichigo could try on some shoes to see which ones fit, and the others were only too obliging.
these Union Jack boots were AWESOME and fit him perfectly... he seemed to like them too. He stood up perfectly in them with very little effort.
MSD-size almost fit, but here's the kicker - Ichigo's left foot is just a little bigger than his right, which I didn't notice until I couldn't put one sneaker on him though the other fit just fine.^^; Then someone mentioned that the sneaker keychains often seen in souvenir shops were actually bonafide shoes suitable for dolls, so joeykaiba, her friend and I took a walk round to some of Sunway Pyramid's souvenir shops. In the end, we snagged a pair of white "CVEONRES"XD sneakers at the aforementioned cart. Which is exactly what I've been looking for because Ichigo's always wearing white casual shoes - whether it's because Ichigo likes white shoes, or KT's just too lazy to color them, I dunno.XD

There were lots of flowers around.^^

Ichigo can't hold flowers worth a damn, but he sure looks good with them. somehow his expression turns from plain grumpy to grumpy and embarrassed.XD
alas, all too soon I had to leave - but I had great fun! Can't wait for the next dollmeet!^__^
