so I paid the RM200+ and delivered a curtly worded letter with it stating that I expected delivery by next Friday or I would "take whatever action deemed necessary to safeguard my interests." They promised up and down that it would be ready by Monday. We'll see. In any case, it's enough to turn me off dealing with that carmaker for good.
I noticed that they prefer to deal with my brother-in-law, even though I'm standing right there.>:( When it comes to making actual decisions, BIL will turn to me, I will give the answer to both him and the dealer, and then the dealer repeats the answer... and looks to BIL to confirm it.^^; HELLO, it's MY car and I'M RIGHT HERE!! To his credit, BIL will then say "Well, it's HER decision." I wonder if this is peculiar to Malaysian car dealers or if car salesmen everywhere are MCPs.:P Perhaps when I start making more money, I'll be able to afford an import. Oooo.
I missed out on the dollmeet today.;_; My sister was planning to go to 1 Utama for an early lunch after the car thing, but because the traffic around Bandar Utama was so bad, we ended going to Taman Tun for nasi kandar instead.XD It's not Secret Recipe but it's Penang food, so it's all good.XD
