As seen on
cleolinda's journal, a link to a youtube clip of Cate B as Bob D in
I'm Not There. Not for those who want to wait to see what Dylanesque Cate looks like on the big screen. Luckily, I'm too curious for that sort of thing. Looks promising, I have to say.
Another one I hope is more than just promising, for some reason, is
Gone Baby Gone, which Ben Affleck is first-time directing. He used to annoy me a lot but then he went quiet for a while, annoying me less, and impressed me with a low key comeback in
Hollywoodland. I'm curious to see if he can pull off the directing thing.
And for something far more light-hearted than that, a French comedy called
My Best Friend. It just looks to be a whole lot of fun, if a mite predictable and potentially corny. Also, there are also seems to be an unusually high number of Paris-based films coming out. I don't know why. Not that there's anything wrong with that considering the city's prettiness.
Death At A Funeral - the trailer's not that long but the cast look interesting. For a start, Matthew MacFadyen and Keeley Hawes are reunited from their days on Spooks. Alan Tudyk from Firefly, and y'know, other stuff, appears to have a tragi-comic, or just comic, part of it. Then there's Peter Dinklage from the excellent film, The Station Agent. Don't know how good it'll be, though.
