hmmm, 10 things people probably don't know about me....
1. I've been a theater major, and a human services major, but I really want to be a writer, do poetry and short stories and novels. I like the fantasy genre, but I"d also want to try something in drama as well, more realistic. I've also thought playwriting would be cool as well.
2. I LOVE to sing/dance/just be goofy in general, but I"m often a bit shy about who I"ll be goofy around, if I get used to you, though, and feel I can loosen up a bit, I can start to get a tad crazy.
3. Kinda part of the second one, be careful engaging me in conversation, I'm better about it than I used ot be, but if you're not cautious I"ll talk you're ear off...even when there's really nothing left to say...I like conversation.
4. In the past, I've been diagnosed w/ all sorts of crap, and I was taking ungodly amounts of meds for it....and now I take nothing... WITH shrink's approval.... hooray willpower and support of friends!
5. I"m often in search of ways to be helpful, and sometimes I end up coming off as aarogant or obnoxious because of it, I've learned a lot of the times the best way to help a person is to just shut up and listen.
6. almost EVERY relationship I've ever been in has lasted exactly 5 months... give or take a week. whether it was good or bad... it just kept goin.
7. I prefer company and good parties over videogames any day of the week... my activities might speak otherwise, but seriously folks, people are just plain better, unless its a multiplayer videogame party....THAT trumps everything.
8. I seem to have a fixation with having a walking stick, of some kind, with me wherever I go. right now I"ve got an ebony wood one from south africa, at my paren'ts home, I have one made from tree root that I whittled myself, and also a generic pole I got from scout camp eons ago.
9. I LIKE getting clothes for christmas....seriously, it makes sense, two of the biggest things i hate are shopping for clothes, and paying for clothes.
10. this might be common knowledge, but I"m an attention mongerer, been that way for a while, and i"M only just learning that being yourself seems to get attention much more effectively than the crap I've been trying for over 20 years. I know its cheesy, but damnit, its true, even if the attention you get is almost entirely from crazy folk, its a start, and i tag anyone with the patience to read this all the way through, my proverbial hat goes off to you brave souls!
*Edit* 11. my brother is STILL sick! and needs to get better! any prayers, rain dances, chants, runes, circles, and other good will/omens and so forth on his behalf would be mucho appreciated!
