No yearly stuff here
I don't really like to do year-end summary posts. The years all blur together and zoom by too fast. The only resolution I've made lately has been to not end up on Youtube, and other than brief appearances in the background of others' videos that I had no idea were being made at the time, I've been able to keep that resolution.
The only thing I've been doing "traditional" for EOY is paying off the credit card. I like to end the year debt-free (the mortgage does not count). Most of the time it's not a big deal since we pay off the card monthly anyhow. This time it sort of hurt because I have several weeks' of business travel expenses for which reimbursements have not yet arrived. I should probably exempt the "card used for the business" from my "symbolic payoff at end of December" activity, but it feels like cheating.
On the plus side, when the reimbursement checks start to arrive, it will feel like free money because the expenses are already paid off.
