My new job: Estate Manager
It is done. After a long, surreal-tinted day shaded with relief and a minor tinge of regret and fear and lots more relief and joy, I am unemployed.
After finishing up at the office, I headed over to Trilogy and listened to surrdave and the rest of the After Hours Quintet perform. Restful evening with good jazz, good company and conversation ... there are worse ways to start a new phase in life, y'know?
Now it's just total brainfry and burnout. I shall sleep until I wake up. The cats have been given extra food to reduce the likelihood they'll wake me up early to feed them.
