To Home Depot,

I would like to ask what to ask what do you consider good customer service? I ask this as a young female that went to a HD in a small town. I wanted to get wooden dowel rods to put in my windows of my apartment for security purposes. I needed two 40 inch rods. I was able to find a 80 inch rod that I could buy by the inch or a 48 inch rod that I could buy for cheaper. I noticed a cutting station that said "Save time? Cut it yourself." I didn't want to cut it myself as I have never worked with a saw but I found no area to have an employee cut it for me. So I went to work. For over 20 minutes I cut the rod down and repeatedly employees walked passed me never asking if I needed help.

Apparently woman's liberation has killed off any form of male assistance, for I thought as a young female in a small town standing in a lumber section would scream to any male that I was in the need of vast help. Apparently, I was wrong.

And for this, I will never go to a home depot again, well at least not until I'm married to a man who knows his way around a saw (and possible a hammer, a drill, well any power tool for that matter, a lawn mower,. a car, etc.)
