I have been critical of how paranoid they were in London about not building stuff they were never use agian, but then I saw this.

Signed up for Beginning Russian classes. Two hours a week for eight weeks from 6 February.

Went down to the Canberra Archery club for a beginner's session and used an bow and arrow for the first time. Seems to take minutes to learn and a lifetime to master. You get a nice bow, some coloured arrows, a leather thing that goes on the fingers of your right hand so you don't need to draw the string with your bare fingers and a guard worn on ( Read more... )

Note the peaks. Clearly, 2012 totally outclasses 2008. But notice the winter trends. It looks like Sochi 2014 will be bigger than Beijing 2008.
