Bike path is busier than Burke Street these days.

Coldest winter in 14 years. Subzero temperatures every morning.

Normally winter means less cyclists on the paths, but for some reason there are more than ever this year. Passed two dozen on the way in to work (not to mention about 50 cars).

Daylight savings has ended, so riding home in the dark. Winds make it a fast ride at the moment.

Was going to ride in a 24-hour race last weekend but heavy rains flooded the camp site area and it was cancelled.

Sunday morning ride around Kowen, which I have not ridden before. 31 km, about three hours. With the 24-hour team.

Had not ridden since November.

Exhausted now.

Sparrow Hill is open again after being closed due to weather damage and logging. Rode the 26 km loop, which is basically a long and winding trail going nowhere. The area was full of these colourful red mushrooms

Sparrow Hill still closed, so had to ride at Stromlo.

The old team has broken up, so it looks like I will not be participating in the 24-hour race this year, for the first time since 2003.

Seventh day in a row of sub-zero morning temperatures.

Apparently Katy Gallagher found $1.5 million down the back of the couch, so the workmen installed lighting along the cycle path from ANU to Dickson today.
