Juneau has totally made my summer the best. Fishing, swimming, going to the beach to watch lightning and the rain, hiking, ect, ect, ect... One night Rico and I went to the Silverbow to hear some outrageous jazz latin music. We ended up meeting a ton of nice people and danced salsa. Rico also met up with a girl from his campus back in Fairbanks and got her phone number. Oooh lala. She was a great dancer and had beautiful hair, she had hair a lot like Kelly's hair, big, light brown, and pulled back. The play I was in was fantastic, we had parts of the audience bawling their eyes out. I love how I was able to learn tlingit with all these young children. I think I will start learning tlingit next summer since Anchorage most likely will not be familiar with it.
About a week ago my aunt got me out on roller blades. It was'nt long before I felt comfortable roller blading the neighborhood, so we decided to take a new route, and it was downhill. I went on the sidewalk which turned out to be a BAD idea. I picked up too much speed and there was a missing piece in the sidewalk. I tried to grab ahold of a pole but I thought that would be bad if I ended up slamming into it. So I said what the heck, and I tempted to jump over the missing sidewalk and ended up on my rear end. Boy did that hurt, now I have a huge bruise on my rear end. Those kids who saw me must think I'm a klutz now.
The day after tomorrow I leave to Seattle where I catch the next flight to New Mexico, Albuquerque. I can't WAIT. I'll see my old School, the old barn, my friends Dara and Miya... And there will be a museum showing art work of Frida Kahlo! I think she's one of the strongest women to ever walk the planet. When I saw the movie I was truly amazed and inspired.
