American picking needed

Hi all, I need someone to look over a hurt/comfort Steve whump. I write British English (actually New Zealand English, which means I can pronounce Hawaiian even if I don't know what it quite says). Just turning my spell checker to American English may not be enough. You guys use different swear words and names for your private parts. :P

This story is a follow on from my fic Guided Missile, which is a missing scene for 2.01. It's ended up rather long and schmoopy. Around 9,000 wds.
