Since I'm partly responsible for the comm, I figure I should at least put up my info, right? :)
Genres you will beta: Pretty much anything, except for what's listed in the next category.
Genres you won't beta: Mpreg, rape/non-con (although if the story doesn't focus on it, and it's a plot point, that is negotiable), same goes for torture!fic. If it's really AU, then I reserve the right to say no, but again, that's negotiable.
Pairings you will beta (within your specified genres): All. I have no trouble with multi-shipping. ;)
Pairings you won't beta (within your specified genres): I have no ship squicks. Bring it on.
Maximum rating you will beta: any
Gen or Character studies you'd beta: All.
Gen or Character studies you won't beta: None, but I do reserve the right to say no if it turns out to be a character I can't get a feel for.
Beta strengths: Spelling and grammar, punctuation and syntax, voice (Danny and Steve especially), plot structure.
Beta Weaknesses: I know nothing about Hawaii, so no setting-specific betas from me, and my knowledge of canon is just the basics from watching each episode at least once.
Length of the fics you'd beta: Drabble through stand-alone is fine. Turnaround is about a week for anything under 10k. Anything longer than that needs to be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, because I don't have oodles of spare time, depending on the nature of the beta needed and just how much work needs to go into the fic.
Any other info: I really don't like mpreg. YKINMK and all that, but really, men don't have uteruses and I cannot bring myself to believe they do. ;) Please run your story through basic spellcheck before sending it along, it will make everyone's life easier.
Other fandoms that I am familiar with include: Supernatural, Leverage, The Dresden Files (book and TV, but mostly the books) Southland, Due South, any of the CSIs, NCIS, Sanctuary, Doctor Who/Torchwood, Left4Dead, Castle, Criminal Minds, Sherlock BBC (or almost anything Sherlock Holmes, really), Dexter, The Mentalist, Burn Notice, True Blood, Chuck, Fringe, Merlin, Lie To Me, Walking Dead, The Pretender, Warehouse 13... God, I really watch a lot of TV, don't I? :P
