It's start time!!
Plans have been approved by the city, fees have been paid (including a school district tax since we are adding more than 500sq ft) and thinsg are starting to move. Next week they will come out to take down the back patio cover so that they can start tearing the stucco off to do the shear wall work.
During that time, the will also be digging up some small parts of the floor to do the foundation work needed for the 2nd story supports. This will be the most intrusive part of the eraly build as they will be inside the house digging up floor.
