Okay! It's been asked where I get the potential comm names from (very sensible idea; wish I'd thought of it), and so here are the explanations. Yes, they're all from bits of Sappho's poetry, partly because the first prompt exchange challenge I participated in involved that, partly because it's femslash, and partly because I'm a sucker for poetry as inspiration.
daring_fate - I'm in love with writings on the Trojan war, so of course I had to read the poetry Sappho wrote about it. So. It's the Trojan war. Fate and love and don't-you-dare-defy-the-gods all gets mixed in there. One of the lines is "forced by her passion, dared Fate in exile." Well. So the symbolism is two-fold here: not only is femslash is generally off on the sidelines of fandom, but I love the idea of daring Fate, or working to counteract it, especially given the inexorable nature of Fate in Greek mythology ( ... )

TBH, I think "muses_garden", with the fact that a lot of us who write fiction, fanfiction or poetry refer to our muses rather often, might be - crap, what word am I trying to get out of my brain here - might be... well, let's go for "assumed", more readily to be just a general fanfic community than a specific femmeslash comm.
