The Butterfly Girl (Rina/Nala) - Muccamukk - Sinbad (TV) [Archive of Our Own]
I don't actually know Sinbad (this show, at least, though I know the folklore), but you don't need to know the show in order to read this story. Rina and Nala meet on opposite ends of the social specturm, but they both need the same thing, and they work together to get what they want.
