I wear a size 16, approximately, and like plain colors, unpatterned, fitted clothing (usually pants and shirts) made with natural fibers (maybe 5% or 10% spandex for stretch).
I don't like most embellishments (other than some simple ruching) meant to draw attention to the chest, as I'm rather large there anyway and prefer a necklace to draw people's gaze upward from my chest instead. For similar reasons, I don't wear button up shirts. The buttons gape and it's embarrassing, frankly.
I've checked out eShakti, which has beautiful clothes, but has lots of embellishments around the chest on their tops, and quite a bit of pleating meant to cover up the stomach. Frankly, if you cover my fat stomach with folds of fabric, it's just going to look worse.
Basically, I gave up skirts and dresses for business wear when I was pregnant, and haven't regretted the decision. PANTS. I love them so. But it's hard to find women's business wear that involves pants.
Anyway, surely I can't be the only one out there who doesn't like patterns and ruffles and drapes? It's so hard to find things that I want to wear! Other than the simple $10 shirts from Target, but those don't last six months, honestly. The quality is pretty terrible.
