It's not worth ranting on a Monday morning.
I had a lengthy post ranting about people who judge parenting styles they don't agree with, because it's easier to rant about "those people" who screw up "other people's kids" than it is to admit that raising another human being is a colossal endeavor and you've got no call to judge an entire generation of parents for being a stereotype.
And then I realized I could just get the rant out of the way in one long, convoluted, and possibly run-on sentence.
Now I can get on with my day. I mean, my day involves getting through my backlog of work, which is less fun, but at least I'll have a feeling of accomplishment when I'm done.
Ranting would've been a good way to delay that, though.
