I am at work. Also, I am exhausted.
Today is the kind of day where I repeat "I am glad I have a job" to myself over and over and over again. I'm just saying.
On the plus side, lyssie has sent back beta comments on my Amelia Pond fic, so I think I can make the last few edits and post it today. On the minus side, I'm beating back the plot bunnies with a stick, both a sequel to the Amelia Pond story, at least one St. Trinian's/Leverage crossover, and Four More Notorious St. Trinian's Girls (and One More Notorious St. Trinian's Teacher), this time full of historical women characters.
BUT. First I need to finish my
celli fic and work on Arthurian stuff. Now that I'm back from D*C, I can set up that filter.
I know I said this in my Dragon*Con post, but I'm saying it again, because this is just that awesome. I don't know LotS well enough for fic, but I want ivanolix to write a LotS/SGA fusion Elizabeth/Teyla AU where Teyla is a Mord'Sith and Elizabeth is a Confessor. (I expect
falcon_horus to chime in soon and nominate Kate as a Confessor, I have to expect.)
Also, lyssie has been talking about a BSG/Leverage AU where the Leverage crew runs the black market, because that way people don't get hurt.
Both of these ideas are amazing and need to be encouraged. Also, I promised lyssie that I would have my very long Elizabeth/John fic edited and posted in time for Sparktober. I need to get cracking on that.
I have many thoughts on Leverage, particularly on Sophie and Parker, but I need to get caught up at work before I write them out. Also, I need to edit the Amelia Pond fic and post it.
