The Joy of Business Travel
Last week I got to go out on yet another business trip. I know one day I may get to the point where these are a bother but right now they're actually really fun. Plus Duke always treats us well when we travel. REALLY well.
This time I headed out to Charlotte again but this was the first time I did the driving. I even hit rush hour and it was not near as bad as I was expecting, so Charlotte to me is a very bearable city. Probably could stay there about a month or so and still be happy. Anyways I also get $ for mileage which is very nice, 0.585 per mile. I drove 316 mi so you do the math. Then we ate outfor lunch and then there was dinner. Oh dinner, can we say filet mignon with 3 lobster tails? Made me very happy before I had to drive 3 hrs back. But hey, I think that makes it worth it.
Needless to say, I'm really liking my job. :)
