I spent the first half of my holiday selling some books for grocery money, and then buying lots of tastey food on sale for last minute 4th parties. Mmmmmm, bun length hot dogs. (Ok, so it ain't sirloin - which wasn't on sale, ugh - but its been months since I've been able to afford hot dogs!) I've got salad too, and crutons (::gasp!::) and grapes even. I was tempted to pick up a watermelon but I'd had to have walked home 40 minutes with it and that just isn't cool.
On a completely random note I saw an ad for the new Impala. All I have to say is at least they used one that was black. Its... a blobby car. Not predatory at all. What's with that?
At work today, of course. I've still got a few weeks worth of inventory to catch up on, so no fun stuff til I'm done with that. (I swear, estei, I'm getting back to that chapter if I have to resave it and come back after I've closed to post it.) Hopefully at some point today I'll also get to start the fic for jaydecrow ( I meant to yesterday... but I kinda spent the second half of my holiday OD'ing on a Law & Order marathon and dozing...). I have started unhobbityhobbit's icons though. Mwahahaha. ::feels marginally productive::
Um, hm. I feel like I'm forgetting something... Er, hopefully I'll remember it later.
In the meantime, here's something to distract you! (And if someone wrote crack fic based on this, I would love them forever and owe them... something. A story in return? ::looks really cute::)
