Not one easily fazed by a simple change in decor, Thor greets the Island's latest trick with typical aplomb, though he finds the new lodgings a touch too small for his taste. While Thor moves far more nimbly than a man of his size ought be able to, he is, nevertheless, larger than the rooms of this dwelling were built to accommodate.
The second time he rams shoulder first into a doorway that morning, he has half a mind to take Mjolnir to every wall and be done with it. (That it is the only one of his belongings to not undergo any drastic metamorphosis is, perhaps, for the best; that hammer means more to him than any other possession.) The clothes laid out in the handsome wooden wardrobe are more fitted than he is accustomed to, but that the material is of finer quality than much of what he has ever acquired from that accursed box, he considers it a worthy trade.
"Loki," he calls from what passes for a kitchen, tiny though it is, rummaging through the cupboards in search of breakfast. "Are you awake yet, brother? There is much to explore!"
